
If you’ve bought a new Windows-based computer, you’ll notice there is an extra element on the keyboard.
This is the Copilot key. Microsoft is pushing hardware vendors to include it to compete against the likes of Alphabet’s Gemini (Google), Apple’s NE, Meta’s Llama, IBM’s Watson, and other nascent and less known AI companies.
Microsoft’s aim is to introduce a limited Copilot version to regular users, to convince them to spend some more money on its 365 subscriptions.
So, there we go. New devices forcing us to adopt the latest and greatest technologies to make us more productive while reducing our brain interactions.
